When I started a burn, I get the following error:

operating system error: number=0x00000020 – The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

I have nothing else open…Please help!

Are you using Encore 2.0 or Encore 1.x? Also, do you have any other Adobe apps running in the background?

    I’m using 2.0.
I had photoshop running the first time when I got the error. Then I closed everything else and tried again, still got the error.

I get these errors sometimes with other software…I always find it a good idea to do a shutdown before burning a DVD…I also make sure that any antivirus software is closed.

(Have not yet had this issue with Encore using the above method)

I went in and manually deleted almost all the temp files in the project folders created by Encore for the project. Basically deleted everything I could with Encore still able to open the project. Then it asked me to re-locate all the media files and reimported them. After all this, it was able to burn again.
