Error: This module does not support getting output suffixes –FIXED
I was pretty frustrated last night when I had just finished a project that had to be out by today, and I went to add it to my render queue and got this error. So, ofcourse the first thing I do is a search on the cow. Only one person seemed to have posted this error, and with no replies. I tried everything to fix it: trashing prefs, repairing AE, uninstalling-reinstalling AE, opening on other computers.
The thing that finally worked was DELETING EVERYTHING IN MY RENDER QUEUE. Thanks to a coworker’s idea. I hope this helps someone down the line, before they rebuild their project from scratch.

Out of curiosity, was this a project that moved between platforms?

No, in fact, it was a project that I had rendered plenty of items before with absolutely no problems.

Thanks a million for posting this and saving many of the hairs remaining on my head. Same situation, spot due in the morning and no where is this solution – until I happened upon your post.

Got the same issue in AE 14.2 with a QuickTime module. After 13 years clearing render queue still works, but I also had to restart AE. Though probably clearing cash would have also sufficed.
