error reading project
I cannot get a project open. It gets to about 40% and then I get the rainbow of the death. The kookie thing is is that I just had this project open within the last month and now it just stops loading. Any thoughts?

Hi,
A few things to try.
Trash your prefs (google fcp rescue, this great app will do it for you)
or
Try opening up your last autosave file.If that does not work you might have a corrupt file somewhere.
Try deleting all your render files and open you project.
If that does not work out you can change the name of your capture folder to “___NEW”
Then your project should open up with all your files offline.
Then you can start to relink bin after bin. Until you find the defiant clip. Recapture that clip/tape and you are up and running again.Hope this works out for you,
