File size is not relevant. Pixel aspect is. If you want to be reliably able to render these files, then you should resize any that exceed 4,000 pixels (in any direction)

September 2, 2010 at 1:20 amWell since i didn’t know what to look for can you tell me how I can determine whether a still or graphic is at or about 4,000 pixels?
Where would I find this information, I could just go back and affect each picture I guess in a worst case scenario. I did resize a few picture but cause the client didn’t want to see any of the borders in them. that makes sense then.
Thanks Michael

That information is available to view in a few ways. In the bin with the stills, there should be a column that shows frame size. Click on the top of this column to arrange clips by size and you will see all the biggest at the bottom.
Otherwise you can see the details of any clip by right mouse click on the clip and look at Item Properties>Format

September 2, 2010 at 1:38 amGot it Michael, I found it shortly after my last posting. I have checked all of my pictures and graphics and non is larger than 3300×2559. I resized it just to be on the safe side and I still have the same problem, all of the rest of the tiff’s are smaller in size.

September 2, 2010 at 1:42 amAre you adding filters to these tiffs and are they the files that are having trouble rendering?
