    Hey team,

I received two DV tapes, which where filmed with a Panasonic Camcorder.
When I use the DV Start/Stop Detect function I get the Error message:
“This movie does not contain any time/date information. The camera’s clock may not have been set.”
Well the Material was then captured through a Canon Camcorder (XL1 I believe) could this cause the error or issues?

    Any help or work around’s?
    Thanks

Well, if you didn’t shoot it, you don’t know that the camera’s clock WASN’T set. It’s possible FCP is teeling you the truth. It can’t do it becuase there is no data or not the right data available for the function to do what it does.

It might be time to log instead.
