I have a sony vx9000 camera which i am using to record my footage, i therefor changed my capture settings to dvc pro pal anamorphic blah blah.
but… when i capture, i get abut 3 or 4 seconds and an error comes up saying there may be a problem with the source.
brand new tape etc… and when i change back to dv pal anamorphic it works fine. should i just use this setting or will it compromise my quality? any ideas?

There isn’t a single Sony camera that shoots in the DVCPro format. That’s entirely a Panasonic format. I believe it shoots DV only.

they say DVC pro on them.
so i should just stick to DV Pal?
