    Error message when Exporting to QuickTime reference file

    My system specs are: Avid Symphony 6.0.4.29200 on Mac OSX 10.8.5 2×2.26 GHz Quad Core, 32 GB Ram,

    I’m trying to export an 84 minute sequence of a film I am cutting and am getting the following error message :

    !Exception: std::exception, what:[CQTExportWorkingThreadBody] Threads::SendThreadMessage: Thread message queue full Main Thread~DeferredDisplayWait

    It starts the export and then quits about 10 minutes into the export. All the video has been transcoded from AMA to DNXHD115.

    I tried to export to QuickTime reference file-same as source. Got the error message. Made sure all the effects were rendered using expert render then tried again. Same thing. It quit about 10 minutes into the export.

    I’ve been working on this film for months and never had a problem exporting before.

    Any suggestions? This is an error message I’ve never seen before in the 20 plus years I’ve been cutting on Avid.

    Needless to say I’m under a deadline to enter a festival.

    Do a video mixdown, and then export.

    Thanks. I hadn’t thought of that. It’s been a very long time since I used a mix down.

    BTW is just posted asking your advice on going thunderbolt.
