error message: file format not supported for import
Me again,
trying to import files from the attic. I made a copy onto the desk top, but when I drag the items from the other bin folder, there is this error message : “file format not supported for import”How come?

If it’s a bin file, you can add the extension AVB to the file and Avid will recognize it as a bin. To be clear, you open bin files by using the “open bin” command… you don’t import them into the Avid.

In fact… you don’t even have to add the extension to open bins.
