error message after drive crash

September 1, 2006 at 3:01 pmJust had a bad experience with a g-raid nearly dying (or in the process of). The drive for no reason would go off line sayiing it was unplugged. It’s a known issue and comes down to the switch. I must say g-tech was really great and fed-ex’d the part and I’m back up. Had to recover the project which was a pain but everytime I bootup it gives me an error about render files being offline. I try to reconnect but they are nowhere to be found. What’s funny is it’s not realyy part of the main project, just an earlier version of an opening I exported to motion to use with a template. The project is intact and plays fine. Should i care???

September 1, 2006 at 3:11 pmThis seems to happen a lot with render files. The next time you start up the project you can either check the box to forget the missing files or try to find them and delete them if they do exist and won’t relink. In either case its no big deal.
