    After installing CS3 and then using it for a couple of days I randomly got an error message saying “8-bit optimization library missing”. Any one know what this means?

    well, quick question… are you running on a pc with windows xp 64 ?

    nope. Sorry I didn’t give my specs.

    I am running on a MacPro octocore with FCP 5.1 and AE CS2.
