error message
anyone encounter not enough ram to create image buffer?
does that means I need more RAM?
I am already running a 2GB RAM and have set my aftereffects settings to
max memory usage 80%
and max RAM cache size 30%
and I have definatly more then enough disc space for my overflow volume.What else can I do?

Are you working with really large images? This sometimes happens to me when I have very large Photoshop files. Try changing Maximum RAM usage to 120% and Maximum Ram Cache size to 60% and see if that helps.

If this happens when rendering, you can clear the RAM cache every so often by accessing the Scret Prefs. Hold down shift when accessing the prefs from the top menu — don’t release shift until the dialog box comes up. Try setting it to “purge every 5 frames during Make Movie”.
