    We’re running a Dual 2Ghz G5(NOT the new Dual Core) w/ 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, & OSX v10.4.3
We just installed Media 100i v8.2.2.

Everytime we try to launch Media 100i we get this error:
Could not start the application because the Media 100 driver (Media_100_Vincent.kext) failed to load. Refer to the Media 100 Support site at https://support.media100.com for assistance.

The only info I’ve been able to find is pretty old and says to remove all my RAM except for 512megs. I would much rather stay at 4GB if possible as it helps me in other programs.

Has anyone managed to get their system up and running after having this problem?

There are two possible reasons for that. The first one is that the kext is in fact missing. Reinstalling the application would fix that. The other one which is much more likely is that your P6000 board is not detected and therefore the Vincent kext cannot be loaded. Which kind of expansion chassis do you use for the P6000 board? Is the board showing up in the system profiler? Does the Media 100 hardware test pass? Is the expansion chassis connection card in the slot suggested by the CPG?
