I still can’t install Sony Vegas 13 Pro. I tried on different computers.

    I get this error:

    “ERROR: -2147163964 occured during installation

Module C:\Program Files\Vegas Pro 13.0\x86\sfvstproxystubx86.dll failed to register.
HRESULT -147024703. Contact your support personnel”.

    thanks for help

Is this with the latest Build 310 update?

Hmmm… Perhaps some other software on your system is conflicting the 32-bit VST proxy stub and causing it not to register? Do you have other audio software installed that might be causing this?

    From what Version? What O/S?

It shouldn’t matter, but a large negative number for an error number often says you have encountered a 64-bit instruction in a 32-bit environment.

Move your VSTs into a completely different folder so that Sony does not see them during installation.
If you can now install Pro 13, copy them back a few at a time into your Sony VST folder until you find the problem one(s) and leave them in the new folder.

Not sure if you’ve gotten your situation fixed, but try this: Look for Microsoft C++ Redistributable 11.0.61030. Install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, then try your install again. (If you have these already, repair the install or reinstall.) Lemme know if it works out for you.
