    Hey guys I posted this almost a week ago with the hope some one would answer but no one seem to know what to do so I repost it as better as I can explain BTW Virtual Memory isnt the problem either
    Error? Sony vegas pro?
    Hi I use Vegas Pro because I make youtube videos now … I had this really bad computer 2GB ram 1.8 Ghz intel atom windows 7 used to run Sony Vegas Pro 11, while it was running Skype, Internet … I upgraded to a 4 GB Ram 2.4 GHz Core i3 Windows 8 I tried running SVP 07 08 09 10 11 and 12, none of them work when I try to open SVP load stops at “initializing the Cache Manager” and then an error appears saying
    “Failed to open Sony Vegas Pro
    The system is low on memory. Close other applications to reduce memory usage ”
    I have nothing open please help!
    I reinstalled a couple of times I tried compatibility solution even reinstalled Windows 8 Nothing works URGENT! Sorry for any mistakes used Google traductor

    To cut a long story short, In your situation, i would advise
    you to continue using Windows 7 for your Vegas editing
    needs.

    Ok I will Try it I didnt wanted that becuse Im loving Windows 8 but Ok I will let you know if it worked thanks!

    Mr.Steve…….i agree with you because after i test window 8 on my new working station with SVP 12,crash when rendering,some plugins not working…

    Seems as if Windows 8 is gonna be a next Vista.
    Never touched it…..lol
