Is there ANY way to stop AE whinging on about errors?
I keep getting “blah blah blah this “.mp4″ file is damaged or unsupported”

Which it isn’t because the project/codec is absolutely fine on the other workstations.
But the workstation I want to use use has decided to get it’s chips in a twist about mp4s.

So I don’t want to update the files(s) or reinstall Windows etc.

I just want to turn error reporting off.

Can’t we just have a console window where errors are spat out instead of having to throw up a whole window to click on each time?

    Thanks for any ideas…

    Adam.

I’m going to guess that workstation doesn’t have the particular codec the other workstations do.

And no, there’s no hide warnings option (that I know of), but Adobe do have an ideas portal where you could request a console.

In the short term, can you convert the troublesome MP4 to a format your workstation will accept?
