Error Compiling Movie: Unknown Error
I need some help troubleshooting. I finished a project and went to export the final version, but AME kept stopping. I would have to force quit. If I tried in Premiere, I get “Error Compiling Movie: Error Unknown” part of the way through.
Some of the .mov files in the sequence showed up as offline after I restarted. Tried again and they showed up as green.
I switched over to my Macbook to see if it was the system. Now the .mov files are showing/playing fine, but I’m still getting the export hang and error.
I’ve tried removing all effects. Exporting XML and importing. Deleting some files from the sequence. I can’t seem to find any way to narrow down what’s causing all this.
Can anyone point me towards how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks Ann. I realized the problem is my drive. It’s screwed. Trying to do recovery on it.
