I have no problems with rendering .mov files except one project that keeps having the same compiling error. It contains video and audio like all the other ones that work but this one also contains a jpeg file so im thinking it could be the picture file. I have split the render into 2 sections to see if it picks up the problem, but it finds no error, its only when rendering the entire clip as one movie. Its length is around 3.5 mins. I have plenty of HD space and my computer fulfills all the operating requirements to run adobe properly.

There are a few reasons for this strange error, and there a few ways to get around it.

    1. Do you have a very large still image file (jpg, psd, bmp, etc)? This can cause the error. Resize the image down to 2000pixels or less

    2. Check you preview disk setting in your prefs and make sure it is set to your largest/fastest drive (sometimes it defaults to C drive and then aborts a render due to low disk space)

    3. Create a NEW premiere project and IMPORT the other one into the new project and then try to output. This technique has been a lifesaver for many since CS3 has launched.

Eternity…don’t miss it for the world.

hey randy, thanks for ur input.

i rendered a 30sec mov of the same project and it worked, then tried the full 3 min mov and had the error come up. it looks like its a time issue, is there a way to fix this?
