I’ve tried using only FCPX, FCPX with Compressor Settings and Send To Compressor, and I get the same error every time. I’ve exported this project before with no issues, but I made a couple of small changes, and now I cannot export it for the life of me. Of course, it’s due in the next 24 hours. I’ve used Corrupt Clip Finder, which found only some JPEG images which were over the 4000 pixel restraint, but they were in the exact same place they had been in the video when I had been successfully able to render it before, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve also been able to export this video since I made most of the changes, the only change I had made since was the import of a prores 422 clip that I had transcoded with FCPX’s internal “optimized media” transcoding. I’ve also tried repairing the project file with Project Repair. The sound is a WAV file, the transitions are all cross dissolves, the media is JPEGS, Animation Quicktimes, and ProRes 422 files. The only internal effects I used were a few quick color corrections using the built-in tools and some of the soft blur and basic titles.

The project is on an external FW800 drive, and I’m rendering to that drive. Most of the changes I have made have been small timing and audio tweaks and it’s extremely dificult to back track over all of those to firgure out what caused the snag, if any did at all. I do not have another computer to test it on (I’m the only person I know that actually uses FCPX, at least, who’s willing to admit it) and it’s rather urgent. If anyone has any idea’s, I’m all ears.

See this thread. Sounds like a drive-related issue:

Thanks for the suggestion, this had not occurred to me. I Verified permissions on the drive and partition and it came back clean. I did clean up some space on my boot drive now (128 gb ssd) and it took it from 6 gigs free to 15, and was able to export it via fcpx native h.264 setting, but that’s far from ideal. I’ll try sending via compressor next and maybe it will be sorted.

Apologies for any mistakes, typing on a phone.
