    Hi guys

I have had CS4 installed for quite some time now, but recently I decided to upgrade to CS5. Because of this I uninstalled my CS4 MasterCollection installation in order for the new CS5 installation to work properly. Unfortunately, After Effects and Premiere Pro CS5 do not support 32-bit I found out. Therefore I uninstalled the entire CS5 suite and started installing CS4 once again – but with no luck so far.

The installation just aborts and I get an error message saying “one or more components was not installed correctly.”

When I click “more information on the problem” it is displayed that the problem is due to “Error 1605 – This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.”

I’ve tried to clean everything up with windows cleanup, but I still can’t figure it out.

I’m running Vista by the way 🙁

    Please help 🙂
    Regards,
    /Aske

UPDATE: I now tried to use the CS5 cleaner tool in order to remove all previous installed components, but still no luck.

However, the error message now says: “Error 1603. Fatal error during installation”

I still don’t know what to do to avoid this problem!?
