trying to burn some DVD’s from within my burn folder, and keep getting the error code 0x8002006e. i’m thinking it might be my Memorex DVD-R’s, but one of them has worked so far. any ideas? i’ve done a websearch for this error code, but it hasn’t turned up much helpful info. thanks.

thanks for helping out a bonehead,

There must be thousands of people with this error. (Apple system auto update mucked up DVD burning) 0x8002006E, Sense code = 0x73, 0x03 (Toast). Apple dont seem to care,
No one seems to know of a good remedy, If it was a case of deleting prefs or repairing permissions then that would be brilliant. So far the best advise is about as good as putting pins in a voodoo doll. Various drive types and media are affected, all after OSX 10.4.8

    20″ Imac G5 2.1(ppc) OSX 10.4.10
