I always test my DVDA projects using erasable disks. The latest project was on a Blu-ray & it warned me that I had data on it & that it would be erased. I decided to use the erase tool & selected a quick erase. When I went to burn disk It said that the disk contained data. So I re used the tool & this time asked for a complete erase. Again I was told that there was data on the disk. Is there a problem with the eras function? I’m rendering out at the moment so I will just have to wait & see it it was erased OK.

    Thanks in advance

Doesn’t sound like a rewritable BLUERAY. Try this Verbatim link:

I had one workstation where it would never completely erase a BD-R. I replaced the BD drive and fixed the problem. (The lasers in BD drives do wear out.).

So, Paul, you have TWO options to look at:

1] Do you have rewritable BLUERAY discs?

    2] Replace your Burner.
