    Does Red have anything like AE puppet tool? I am on Red 5 so I am not sure if 5.5 does or not but it would be nice

    No, we do not offer a tool to warp layers in RED but there is a Warp filter in BCC, part of BCC Warp Unit that allows you to warp a layer based on spline control points.
