Equirectangular projection
I have an idea for a nice move in Premiere Pro or After Effects on an equirectangular projected image I took (360×180 spherical photo). I’d like to start out with a slowly spinning stereographic projection or “little planet” view and zoom in until I’m panning the horizon. Can this be done?

Personally I would do this in a 3d package (Maya, Softimage, Cinema4d etc). Projection map inside a sphere, keyframe camera FOV… easy peasy.

Hey Aaron,
There is a free AE plugin that will do the trick for you. I’ve done a similar animation move in a recent experiment here (it’s the last sequence in the film)
