Equally spaced clip gaps after duplication
After I duplicated an entire sequence in final cut pro, it had equally spaced gaps between all the clips, they hadn’t changed there were just gaps between every clip, I am using final cut pro 6.0.0, with a g5, with 3.5gigs memory. How do I correct this?, anyone had the same issue?

FCP 6.0.0 has significant bugs. When it was first released, like 2.5 years ago, Apple released patches for it almost immediately. I would suggest you update ASAP.

I am working on a pretty significant project and I am afraid upgrading made create compatibility issues, as i am a few days from a dadline and want to avoid extra problems. i know it has a ton of bugs but is there anything I can do without upgrading

“It’s not upgrading that you should be concerned about in this case Rachel.
And, you can always clone your system drive before upgrading if it does concern you. Search around this forum for cloning, you’ll see many posts about how to do it.

yeah, get out of 6.0.0.
as for the spaces:
check the settings of the sequence you pasted into.
sounds like it has a different frame rate than the one you copied from.nick
