I’m equalizing audio in several clips. I have a hunch that this efect is causing problems, as crashes arose around the time I began using a lot of it.

It isn’t always behaving correctly. Although I can move the mid-point markers around on the curve, they only affect the gain, and only at a fixxed point on the frequency range, which does not change moving the marker left or right.

Also, there is no discernable relationship between the frequency being set for shifting (either on the dials or by moving the marker around on curve) and the point on the curve that is being adjusted, which remians fixed at an aprrently arbitrary point.

    There’s something wrong with it.

    PPro 1.5, p4c800, 2GB Ram, Matrox Rtx.10 Matrox Mode.

update; cutting and then re-dragging the effect to the clip seem to have fixed this. (resetting it did not help)

THe effect seemd to ‘crash’ and this ‘rebooted’ it.

First I’ve seen this type of performance of an effect.
