Episode Pro/Popwire does not work on Panasonic DVD players
Hi guys, I have a problem for over a year now from the present Episode Pro from back when they were Popwire Compression Master. It seems that DVD mpegs encoded with them cannot be played on Panasonic DVD players.
The encoded video does not play but menus will show up
I tried authoring with DVDSP, pc softwares as well as straight burning with Toast but it doesnt work.
I have brought my disk to other people’s Panasonics and I can confirm the same problem. Lately it seems that certain Toshibas cannot play it as well.
Any advice here?

Are you burning DVD-R or DVD+R? I have seen compatibility issues with Panasonic, Samsung and Toshiba players with DVD-R media encoded with compressor and DVDSP. Depends on blank media brand, burn speed, and other factors.
What are you using.
