  EOS Rebel T4i and Automatic Gain Control

  I have a T4i and I just recently bought a Rode Videomic Pro. The only problem with it is that when I film inside and no one is speaking it gets really noisy. I know it’s the Camera because when the Videomic is plugged into the computer it gets great sound with no fuzz. I’m guessing that this is because the T4i has automatic gain control. What I want to know is can I turn this off? If not, how can I get rid of that noise in the background.
