I had a menu set-up with 21 buttons, I used DVD-Lab pro and the menu work fine, But i had to change my author program and used Adobe one but it says me it is limited to 18 button by pages Cuz i cannot really split the menu in two pages. Is there a way to overide this limitation? Thanks!

Is your menu widescreen? Because 18 buttons is the limit on a widescreen menu, required by the DVD-Video spec.

Yes it’s an Widescreen menu. But It worked with 21 buttons/widescreen with on my 2 DVD players… If I can’t find any other solutions I’ll try to convert the menus to 4:3 even if it’s not my favorite solution.

A widescreen menu with more than 18 buttons is out of spec. You may not see any problems in some players, but others may refuse to play them.

Best to stick to the well-established limit for widescreen…18 buttons.

Ok Thanks, it was for home presentation and my DVD players supported it. But i’ll go with 4:3 Menus.

How do I setup my Disc to Letterbox the video by default with Encore?

Encore 1.0.1 and later will do that for you automatically…nothing to set.
