I’m editing a video and some of my colors look off in the workflow. I think the temperature settings were off a little bit so my pink looks a little too red. The client is really specific about the pink having the right rgb value. I used the color dropper to isolate the pink in the shirt and so I can change the color but I cant get the right pink. I have the rgb values but I can’t find where to input them to make the color perfect. Anything helps! maybe I’m using the wrong software for this problem…

You can’t enter RGB values directly in X, but Applications>Utilities>Digital Color Meter might help you get the correct values with a little trial and error.

[Robert Stewart] “The client is really specific about the pink having the right rgb value.”

but video is NOT RGB, it is closer to “CIE Lab” Color than it is to RGB.

Entering RGB values will not work in a Y’Cr’Cb’ color space that HD video works in.
