Enlarging a clip and keeping the pixels crisp
Hi,
I have recently animated a piece in the style of a 16-bit video game.
Since I wanted it to look completely authentic, I worked to the resolution of 320×224.
To display this animation, it will be playing in an arcade cabinet on an old computer monitor. The monitor will be hooked up to my PC, with the animation on loop.
My problem is, I do not know how to enlarge my clip and keep the pixels from blurring. In photoshop, I would use the nearest neighbour option instead of bicubic. And even then, I would need to enlarge by increments of %25 to make it look perfect.
I just want the animation to fit my monitor, and have crispy big pixels like they did when I played arcade games in the early 1990’s.
Is there a way to do this in after effects?
I do not know flash, but would there be an option there?
Thanks for reading this, I hope someone can help.
