Enhancing video / removing yellow ? Magic Bullets
I have Vegas Pro 8 and mini DV AVI files, some of them look dull or have a yellow noise effect which detracts from the quality of the skin tones. Infact some people seeing these movies think that the subjects are ‘ jaundiced’
I remember a previous version of Vegas was bundled with a program called magic bullets… these could be used to enhance the appearance of mini DV files.
What are my best options?
1. To enhance quality
2. Get rid of yellow artefact?Joseph D

Use the Color Corrector tool to properly white balance your video. It will remove any color caste. You can also use the Color Curves tool if you wish to limit the range of tones affected a bit more precisely. However, the curve tools require more knowledge of color theory to use properly.
