No, you’re thinking of Premiere Pro 1.5. In 1.5, MPEG-2 import was unusable. In PPro 2.0, it’s most definitely fixed and working; I use it all the time.

Ok I turned it off on all the drives…

Another thing. I tried to capture a smaller clip from the camera and it showed in the capture screen but endlessly cycled through the indexing bit again once it was in the shot sheet not even on the timeline

Lets hope this works indexing off works… if it does I still dont understand why it worked before…

well turning the indexing off did not work.. tomorrow I will reinstall adobe

did you ever resolve ur problem?

I was editing hdv fine and all of a sudden its not working, so i reinstalled and reformatted my computer and now im stuck in an indexing loop.

help!!
