  end of workflow problem – exporting finished video

  Hello all,

  I have a sequence back from color in AppleProRes 422 in which I put back on the shots the fades in and outs and subtitles I took out for color correction.

  When I export that video and watch it, the moments where there are the effects of fades (and subtitles also) the image has a resizing at that moment. It’s like I applied a rescale exactly at the moment of the transition (not fading rescale) but direct that lasts for the integral time of the transition ex. 1second) and directly the size of the image comes back to normal after that. So basically every time I have a transition of a subtitle I’ve got the image that is rescaled at about 110% and come back to 100 at the end of that effect.

  However if I export the video in any other format than the original format the problem is gone. Even if I found a solution but I’d still want to understand what was the problem with working on AppleProRes exports from Color in FCP.
