  • End Action for Timelines not linking to correct Menu button

I have a submenu with 10 menu buttons with each button linking to a different timeline (1-10). when i try to set the end action for each timeline to link to the submenu button for the following timeline, Encore choses a different link. For example, rather than the end action for timeline one linking to menu button two for timeline two, Adobe chooses menu button 6 for some bizarre reason. This happens for each of the time line end actions. each time Adobe chooses a different end action than the one i gave it.

Any ideas? Each menu item numbering is in sequence form 1-10 and i also have a “Main Menu”, and “Next” button as well, numbered 11 and 12, respectively.

First of all you should update your encore to the latest update. Then you can try doing an override on the links. Or you can try to start a new projekt and start all over again. This has helped me many times with encore.
