    Hi Everyone,

I’m having some trouble with Encore exports, where my menu text is an awful quality once exported, despite looking fine in software. I have looked at the several similar threads, but they didn’t provide me an answers as far as I could find, so perhaps you can help me out. This is a 16×9 dvd, and I’m working with still images to create the menu.

In Encore, this looks perfect. Just they way I want the menus to turn out.

Here are the menus in Photoshop. You can see a slight white halo, so perhaps I should make the active gray font a touch larger, but this won’t address the pixelation. Both passive and active text are shown for example.

Finally, here’s the kicker. The text once exported out into DVD form is grainy, rough, and pixelated, at a quality I can’t accept.

My question is how can I fix this? I would appreciate any tips. If you need any additional information let me know.

    Thanks a bunch.

    Caleb
