Encore support and upgrade no more
So I’ve read the announcement from Adobe, so what is behind the eventual elimination of Encore? And, is there something coming soon to replace it? Maybe a better question at this time: What would anyone here recommend for an easy to use basic DVD authoring program? Thank you

A streaming company named Rovio purchased Sonic Solutions,
who had licensed their disc authoring technology to Adobe.Adobe didn’t want to have to start from scratch so they retired Encore.
