Encore iso question.. Sorry!
Hi pplz,
Sorruy to post encore in here but ive posted 3 times in a month on other page and no one answers!!
Ive made a wedding dvd in encore CS5. Everything works FINE with blu ray, and ive created another version for dvd (different rendered Mpg2 footage) from premiere, however when i create an ISO it says it has 4.69GB and 10mb spare, however when i try to burn the iso with Roxio.. it says its 13mb over!!
I know i can use folders etc, which im trying now, however for cleanlisness i like keeping an iso of all movies i make… bt for some reason this SINGLE ISO just keeps encoding as 13mb over~!!!
How can i fix this?

OK… so i made folder and it was 13mb too big also..
Went to iso AGAIN… this time 3mb under!! wtf….. everything was transcoded that needed to be. so im thinking there must have been an error. very very random though

Best to leave at least 100-160 mb free below 4.7 gigs.I try to keep my projects around 4.3 gigs

Thanks for the response.. however I cant see where i can change the end size?
I have seen the part saying what size disc to put it on… but if i write “4.5GB custom” it just says its 100mb too much…
is it a matter or retranscoding material etc?

Just set the size to 4.7 gb that is what a single layer dvd is.
If you outputted from Premiere lower your target bitrate of the mpeg2-dvd file a bit to get it to fit. Or use a bitrate calculator.
Did you use Dynamic Link? -
It’s set to 4.7Gb with a write of mpeg2 8mb/s from encore.

Its weird that the file size of the iso is 4.69 gb but when in roxio its “13 mb over”
