Encore –> Flash render…how long?
After fixing my install problem (needed a reboot), I’ve built my first Encore project.
Loaded an mpg file (and associated .ac3 audio file) that I had generated using Vegas. 25 min runtime.
chose to build a Flash .swf file. Started the build two hours ago. Looks like it is maybe 20% complete. Extrapolating, but is it usual to expect a 25 minute video to take 10+ hours to render to .swf???
Should I have loaded some other filetype than .mpg? (.avi for instance?)

Flash export from Encore is painfully slow. Your extrapolated times are not unexpected.
