    Hi,
I’m using Premiere CS3 with Encore. I have exported the timeline to Encore using the Surcode surround plugin. The surround works fine in Premiere, but when I burn the dvd the dvd only plays back the sound in stereo. Is the problem with the export from Premiere or at the burning stage with Encore?

Have you made sure you have selected “Do not transcode” on your audio file in the properties menu in Adobe Encore? If you haven’t it will encode into stereo.

If that doesn’t help you could check the audio by re-importing the surround sound file that you exported into Premiere and check to make sure there are 6 channels.
