  Encore enlarges project file after one dvd burn

  I have had problems trying to burn one dvd for the past couple of months using Encore cs4. Yesterday I got the message that the file is too large for the disc, when it wasn’t before (burned one last November).

  I had previously burned a dvd from this same file, no problems, removed one sequence from the file re-saved under a different name and tried to burn another dvd and I get the message that the file is too large for the disc. I don’t get it. . .wasn’t too big before, but now it is after removing files.

  I went back and removed the music, trimmed the files down considerably and was able to successfully burn one dvd, but when I tried to burn another from the same file directly after the first one, I again got the message that the file is too big for the dvd disc.

  I am new to the forums and not very computer literate, . . .can anyone help?

  I use Windows 7 64bit – this is a fairly new computer – bought July 2012
