I’m unable to burn a DVD. I have tried both my burners. Any idea what it might be?

I get “Access Denied” when I try to burn an image. And now I get “General error” when I try to preview

    Hi Johnny,

Looks like you have 3 different kinds of video clips in the project –

    • .mpg
    • .m2v
    • .mp4

My guess is that the .mpg or .mp4 clips – or both – may be at fault.

ANY video clips you want to use in Encore should be .m2v, created from Premiere/Media Encoder using the MPEG-2 DVD format. Then you are not asking Encore to do a bunch of transcoding of the material, since in the end it all must be MPEG-2 before it goes to disc. Better off to just provide Encore with DVD-ready material to start with.

I also can’t tell from looking at the screen grab what the frame sizes and frame rates are of all the different clips. Could some be HD, or have different frame rates? Should all be 29.97 in the US.

    Thanks
