Encore DVD 2.0
Is Encore 2.0 pretty much the same as CS3 version? I know CS3 version in not stand-alone & 2.0 is, from what I understand. I am wanting to buy a book that throughly describes everything that you need to know, and I know there isn’t much out there on STRICTLY Encore DVD CS3, acutually nothing that I’ve seen (without something on the whole suite).
Is the in layout and all the dropdowns the same in either one? -

I would say yes it is pretty much the same, in fact i have closed a CS3 version and opened them up in 2.0 and there was no problems. the interface is basically the same, the way you work is the same. the only thing i noticed was at the begining you either go the standard dvd route or Blue ray route.
I’m sure there are differences but i expect they are just bells and whistles. I have built a few films in CS3 and don’t feel i have changed my way of working.
