Encore CS6 Transcode stalls out at same spot everytime.
I’m attempting to create a DVD of an interview with my grandmother about her art collection.

I’ve been attempting to transcode the video of the interview itself with no luck. I’ve tried automatic transcoding and doing it manually by placing the video in a timeline, but either way it stalls out at the halfway point every time.
I’ve reduced the length of the file name but that didn’t help. Is there a way around this or am I missing something obvious?

If the process always stalls at the same place, it sounds like you are trying to transcode from a corrupted file. Can you re-export from your edit software and try again?

I rendered another version with no luck, but I tried breaking it into four pieces (about 15 minutes each) and stringing them together on a timeline, that seems to have fixed it.
