    Hi !

I’ve a huge problem with Adobe Encore CS 5:
The program starts, I can make a new project, but after 5-10 sec., it crashes. Even if don’t do anything (e.g import or make a menu), it just shuts down and I get an error-message.

I deactivated the DVD-Player, deleted the appdata, made a new user, opened as administrator, deactivated the windows-compatibility mode, disabled startup items, deleted AdobeFontfiles and removed the plugins from the Encore-Folder…
so basically everything I found on the Adobe troubleshooting page and in forums. It didn’t help.

    What else I can I try ?

    I’m running Windows 7, 64 Bit on a Dell M6500,
    Intel i7, 1,73 GHZ, 8GB Ram, with a NVIDIA QUADRO FX 3800M.

Thanks a lot for any suggestion!

    Paul

I had about the same problem. What I started doing is to make a DVD image since I need a copy also. Once the image was created, it takes several minutes to burn the DVD.
    I hope this helps.
