Encore CS4 won’t allow Save As
Encore CS4 4.0.1.048 on Macpro with OSX 10.5.4
Creating Blu-ray project, as I have many times for the last year using CS3. When I try to “Save As” to make another version, I get an error “OSStatus Error = -48.
Have tried relaunching, restarting, etc. All I can do is keep saving with the same name. Any ideas?

Hello Bud, I’m curious if you found a solution to this problem,OSStatus Error = -48, I seem to have the same error status within allmost the same configuration, CS4, OSX, mac pro

I did find a solution. It is my habit when doing a “save-as” version of a project, to click on the existing name and then type in a change, i.e. 02, 03 or the date. Encore didn’t like that method at all. When I completely type in a new name it accepts it. I have no idea why this works but it does for me. Hope it helps.
