encore CS4 when changing premire timeline update in encore
I send premire to encore and if I have to change something back in premire it does update in encore but the audio in encore doesen’t play, so I have to export audio only in premire and then bring it into encore as an asset, put in on audio 2, then it plays. It does this everytime I do a change in premire, title or video. Is this normal?

That is the correct method, as the dynamic link feature with premiere is new and still has some bugs.

so it’s normal for the audio in encore not to work when you make a video change back in premire?

You are experiencing a bug with the dynamic link feature of Premiere. I wouldn’t say it’s normal, but more like expected until adobe can get it working properly. The audio should be exported separately.
What adobe really needs to do is rebuild Encore from the ground up. They just keep adding code on top of an old program that they initially didn’t even design themselves.
