  • Encore CS4: can’t choose Blu-ray format w/o locking up.

I have Beta Windows 7 64-bit w/ Adobe Production Bundle.
Encore CS4 (fully updated), I create a brand new Blu-ray project, and under the ‘Build’ tab I go to change the ‘Format’ from a DVD to Blu-ray and BAM all locked up.

Very consistent. I did this about 6 times all in different approaches.
Is it a 64 bit thing? or is it beta issue? or is this a known issue for Encore?

    Intel i7 920, Corsair 3x2gb= 6GB, Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P, NVidia 9800 GTX 512MB, CS4 bundle, Windows 64bit vista/ Win7 beta 64bit
    also PPro 1.5

    I’d suspect the beta OS.

Don’t know if you’ve sorted this or not, but I’ve had Encore freeze on me when I try to do Blu-ray and from what I could tell it was being caused by my Blu-ray burner.

I was using a BDR-101-A by Pioneer. I’ve since upgraded to a Pioneer BDR-202 and it now works.

Don’t know if that’s the problem, but something to check out.

    Cheers,
    Clint

It’s the Beta Version of Windows 7. I don’t need a burner to be attached, to have the problem. I assume Adobe will fix it before Win7 comes out.
