  Encore CS3 hooks my DVD drive

  When I start to build a project in Encore CS3, I cannot read any other disks from my drive while Encore works. It’s like Encore is using something that my DVD drive needs. With Encore CS2 I didn’t have this problem.

  What’s strange is that I CAN use the drive to burn something and it burns ok but if I re-insert the disk to see what I burned, the disk shows as empty. After the building of Encore is finished and I close the project, the DVD drive works fine again.

  What can I do to fix this? I need to use my DVD drive for other things while Encore works.
