    Encore crashing

    I have completed my project, but Encore keeps crashing every time. It is a lengthy 2 1/2 hour program. Main timeline is 60 minutes, and bonus material is 90 minutes. I am trying to burn a standard DVD on a Dual Layer DVD-9. Is this a memory related program or what?

    Any error messages? MAC or PC? We run CS4 on PC and had crashes but keeping it updated and updating the video drivers helped. I do believe it is a memory hog and doesn’t manage the RAM well. I always author then reboot right before transcoding and burning.
