Encore (+AE) DVD Menu with a Moving BG and Button
So here is my situation:
I am making a DVD menu in Encore. I have created all the separate parts in AfterEffects.
I have a clip of a wall which is slightly moving. Written on the wall are my buttons. The buttons are tracked to the wall.
When the button is highlighted, it changes color. In AfterEffects I’ve created a separate layer for the highlighted button and I want it to appear once the button is selected.here is a screen shot:
How do I make this happen in Encore? Can I have the highlighted button moving with the background?

no. The button highlights on a dvd must be static.
As an alternative, you can take the original shot in AE and stabilize it there. Not the same thing as a little motion, but at least it’s an option.
